We are going with a forecast for the doubles in the Lugano challenger. First round match where we have the Polish couple as light favorites. Last year they won 9 matches out of 9, winning two ITF tournaments and a Davis Cup victory. This year they have made the leap to challenger and they are not doing anything wrong. They lost in the final in Biella 2 and in the semis in Biella 4. They lost both games by the minimum and before pairs better than Margaroli and Sock a priori.

Jutnos perform quite well and I think they can have a good tournament in Lugano. Margaroli and Sock have never played together. Margaroli practically only plays in doubles but this year he is being very irregular. He has played with several different couples and in total he has 5 wins and 8 losses in 2021.

Sock is the best of the 4 without a doubt but he is not in the best level of him. He’s still trying to get back to his level in singles, I don’t think he’s thinking much about doubles. This will be his first doubles match of the year. Seeing both couples as they arrive I stay with the Poles despite having less experience in this type of tournaments.
