St. Patricks Athletic against Bohemians FC.
Tonight will see the 19th round of the Ireland Premier League, the match between St. Patricks and Bohemians FC.
The Bohemians are in a pretty good shape, just a bit better than St. Patricks. They had a single defeat in the last matches they`ve played, they were defeated by Galway with a 5-3 score, but they`ve also managed to win some important games, like the one against Limerick with 2-1 in their favour, we have to mention Dundalk FC, who were defeated also by Bohemians with 2 -1 score and two draws against Cork City and Bray. So we can honestly say they show us performance and hard work.
St. Patricks seem to be on the right track, lately showing signs of a comeback, after a pretty difficult period they went through. They`ve had three rounds without victories, in the championship. They`ve managed to draw against Shamrock Rovers and didn`t manage to score, not once, in the matches against Bray and Dundalk, losing the games at 1-0 with Bray and 0-2 with Dundalk.
They did manage to finally win a match, playing away against Galway, with a smashing 4-1. On the other hand, they seem to have developed some kind of skills in finishing the games with a draw, when playing on home ground.
As for statistics and results, the Bohemians are placed on the fourth position with 28 points, 3 points behind Shamrock Rovers, on third and 3 points ahead St. Patricks, on fifth.
It will probably be a balanced match, even if the last time the two sides met, St. Patricks hosting the Bohemians, the first ones have won the game with a 3-1 score, but i`m not positive that will be the case today. I`m almost sure the Bohemians will manage to score at least one goal.
