Preview and betting tips for Fiorentina vs Sevilla – 14.05.2015
Fiorentina and Sevilla will take place today from 20:05, UK Time, in the second leg of the Uefa Europa League semifinal. The spaniards are 99% qualified in the final, for the second year in a row. Sevilla won the first leg, 3-0 at home.
Fiorentina are struggling right now, with only three victories in the past ten competitive games. The italians are not the same as in the first part of the season, proof that they conceded 12 goals in the last five matches in all competitions. They are out of the Top 3 race in Serie A and their only chance to play in Champions League next season is to win Europa League, but it’s almost impossible to qualify after 0-3 in the first leg.
The away side seems to be a much stronger team from every point of view at the moment. They lost only a game of the last ten trips and we expect them to make another good performance today. Sevilla are coming after a draw, 1-1 against Celta Vigo, being three points behind Top 4, so their chance to play in UCL next campaign is to win this trophy. They won it last season too, so it’s not something new for them.
Fiorentina vs Sevilla probable lineup:
Fiorentina: Neto – M. Alonso, Savic, Rodriguez, Tomovic – B. Valero, Badelj, M. Fernandez – Salah, Ilicic, M. Gomez.
Sevilla: Sergio Rico – Coke, Carrico, Kolodziejczak, Tremoulinas – Krykhoviak, M’Bia – Alex Vidal, Banega, Vitolo – Bacca.
Prediction: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.65
As we saw in the first leg, we expect another spectacular game between these side, considering that Fiorentina will must attack very much, while Sevilla is a very strong team on counter attack and not only.
