Betting tips – Hamburger vs Schalke – 20.12.2016

One of the most attractive duels of the 16th round in German Bundesliga will see Hamburger hosting Schalke, today from 19:00.

Hamburger had a good run in the past few weeks, but it ended last round when they lost 1-3 to Mainz. The hosts are currently on the 17th position, with ten points and a 12-30 goal difference. They are three points below the first place out of red zone, fighting to remain in Bundesliga this year.

The other side, Schalke 04 disappointed too, being in the bottom half of the table now. Their recent form is not impressive at all, with one draw and two losses in the last three rounds. There are still many injured players in the away squad, but they are a little  in pole-position. Schalke won the previous trip here, 1- in September 2015.

Hamburger are inferior in our opinion, while Schalke need three points with any price here. Altough they have many missing players, we expect the visitors to win at least one point here.
