Chelsea and West Ham United are going to face each other in the first 100% London derby of this new Premier League edition. The game starts today at 20:00.
Chelsea played six summer friendlies, winning four of them and losing two. They have scored seven goals in the last two matches, but the defense didn’t look very good, proof that they kept only two clean sheets in six friendlies. Conte’s players are motivated to start the new campaign with a win, but it won’t be an easy mission here.
West Ham United are qualified in the Europa League play-off, facing Astra Giurgiu this Thursday. Their recent form is not so impressive, but in a competitive duel is something different. West Ham won four points vs Chelsea last season after 2-1 at home and 2-2 away. Anyway, their previous victory away from home vs The Blues took place 14 years ago, 3-2 in a Premier League duel as well.
