His strops and public issues have not been good for morale around the club, and that could come back to be a further issue here is the Chilean fails to spark. Without him, Arsenal tend to look lost.

Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling – two of their most potent threats – are likely to join Ilkay Gundogan and Gabriel Jesus as absentees for this one. So, City will be lacking a lot of the attacking flair that makes them so irresistible to watch.
While David Silva and Leroy Sane are hardly unable deputies, the frailty of City’s squad is beginning to become apparent. Even the likes of Kun Aguero have failed to shine at their usual level this season, with the return of Yaya Toure in the middle of the park causing any many problems as it did solutions.
Neither team is in great form or morale at present, then. City are getting results but often look weak and uncertain of their roles. Arsenal the same, so it’s hard to see who might come out of this with the win. The away side are the ones in better confidence and form, though; score first and the game could be theirs already.
