Real Zaragoza versus Las Palmas, a step closer to the qualifications.
Real Zaragoza managed to make a great comeback, on Sunday afternoon, after losing the first-leg of the semifinals, on home ground with a 3-0 score, in favour of their visitors and now they have a chance for the qualifications in the promotion final in La Liga by winning the second-leg, scoring 4 goals while their opponents just 1 and know they will meet Las Palmas playing for the qualifications thanks to the goals scored away in their last game.
Tonight both sides are meeting on the La Romerada Stadium playing the first-leg and they will meet again for the second-leg on 21 of June on Gran Canaria Stadium, match hosted by Las Palmas.
There are some diffrences between the two, speaking of the results they`ve got so far. Las Palmas are placed on the fourth place on the Segunda Division table with a total of 78 points, while Zaragoza are placed on the sixth place with 61 points, gathered until now, nearly at the final of the season.
The Aragonese players will surely aim to get an advantage against the Las Palmas, ahead of the game on Sunday that will take place in Gran Canaria, so they can secure their spot.
Midfielder Vincente Gomez, will be out for this game and the rest of the season, as he suffered an injury during the last game against Valladolid CF. As for Zaragoza, they`ve included Borja Baston in the list of 20 players and he was called for by the Serbian manager hoping to make a comeback, after missing the round against Girona, due to a muscle problem.
This is an important match for both teams, as the final is closing in, but the odds are in favour of Las Palmas or a draw between the two sides.
