Norway vs Sweden – 08.06.2015
Norway versus Sweden, friendly international.
Tonight we`ll witness another friendly match, between the two scandinavian rivals, Norway and Sweden. They`re playing the qualifications in the European Championship, they`re both doing it very well, at least until now.
The fact is, the Swedes seem to have prepared a game with reserves line-up, so the Norwegians are really hoping to celebrate a victory. The Norwegians coach, Hogmo, has also announced he will have on the field a very young but quality team. They`re talking about Odegaard too, who recently is also a member of Real Madrid but first had his debut with the national team of Norway and even in the starting line-up, in the game against Croatia, even they didn`t manage to win the game, at 16 years old, it`s a great thing. It`s a fact that they`ve lost with Croatia but they also won three consecutive matches, assuring this way a top position in the play-offs.
For this meeting with Sweden, two players will be left on the side, due to injuries, we`re talking about defender Reginiussen and striker Elyounoussi Moller Daehli.
On the other hand, Sweden, have got in a less difficult group for the European qualifications, they are currently on the second place, that`s probably satisfying enough, but they surely hope for more, they have to. It`s a bit worrying, even for their coach Hamren, the fact that they didn`t manage to win enough games, even they`ve managed to draw, so they were undefeated and they`ve also won the match with Lichtenstein. They`ve mostly had a quite annoying performance throughout the qualifications, nothing fancy as the fans would probably expect. Coach Hamren spares his best players also because they have ahead a big game to play against Montenegro, of great importance, considering also that Sweden is placed second in the group, as I earlier said, with 4 point behind Austria and only 1 point ahead Russia, on third.
Tonight the favorite should probably be Norway, considering Sweden it`s not in great shape and even have a fairly light structure of the team.
