Dundalk vs Bohemians 05.June.2015
Dundalk FC meeting Bohemians FC.
The Dundalk are making some first class performance lately, they`ve won some matches this weeks, like the one against Sligo Rovers, at Oriel Park, with 3-0, another one with Limerick with 2-1 and a record of 7-0 in favor of Dundalk, with the Louth, last week. So it`s pretty obvious they have big plans for this Airtricity League season.
Al the results above, mean that Dundalk passed on top of the table, winning a total of 38 points and the first place, while Cork City are placed second with 32 points.
Tonight Dundalk will meet Bohemians in the SSE Airtricity League. The Lilywhites, as they`re also called, are coming from another league action against Derry City, which they`ve won also with 2-1 victory in the EA Sports Cup, playing the quarter-finals. That game was impressive definetely impressive. David McMillan and Kurtis Byrne scored for the Dundalk`s and Patrick McEeleney reached the net for it`s team, but that was it, so the hosts passed on to the semi-finals.
The league table is seems to take a certain shape as the elite teams tend to separate themselves from the others, but there`s still a long way to go in this season and many things can change along the way. For now, they all have busy schedules, a lot of matches in such short time, so they have to focus.
Last season, Dundalk have won two of the three encounters with the Bohemians, one time at Dalymount and Oriel in July, while the final meeting in October ended with a draw.
Dundalk will play tonight without their captain due to an injury, that he`s recovering from, for some time, but the team is well prepared for the event. The odds are on the Lilywhites, considering the results they`ve had lately and the great tone they showed.
