Betting tips – Lyon vs Montpellier – 21.09.2016

Lyon and Montpellier will be face to face today from 18:00, UK Time, in probably the most interesting match of the day in French Ligue 1.

Olympique Lyon started very impressive the new campaign, with six points after the first two matches. Then they failed to win any of the following three games, recording one draw and two losses. OL will be without Lacazette, Gonalons and Jallet here, but Nabil Fekir and Mathieu Valbuena are back in the squad, expected to start the game against Montpellier.

The visitors are almost in th same situation. Montpellier started with a win, but then they recorded three draws and one defeat. With a total of six points and a 5-6 goal difference, the away team is in bottom half of the tabel, on the 12th place, to be more precise. Ligali, Gissi and Lasne are left out of the squad by coach.

Lyon started very well this new season, but their recent form is not impressive anymore. They need three points with any price here and I expect them to confirm their superiority, having the fans behind too.
