The first round of Italian Serie A will put face to face Pescara and Napoli, Sunday evening from 19:45, the visitors being favourites at bookmakers, as expected.

Pescara are back in Serie A after three years in the second division, starting the official season with a win in Coppa Italia, 2-0 vs Frosinone. They have played five more friendlies as well, ticking four victories and one defeat, 1-2 to Celta Vigo. We expect them to field a defensive team, maybe a 4-3-1-2 formation, with three stopping midfielders.

Napoli sold Higuain to Juventus this summer for more than 90m EUR and, but even so, they are much superior in this duel at first view. Napoli defeated Pescara in the previous seven meetings, winning four times at San Paolo and three times here. Gabbiadini is announced as main striker, with Callejon and Insigne supporting him on the two flanks.
