The most exciting Quarter Final at EURO 2016 will put face to face Germany and Italy, today from 20:00, UK Time. The odds are well-balanced, but Kroos & Co are a little in pole-position from this point of view.
Germany had a very good campaign so far, being undefeated and without a goal conceded in four matches. They defeated Ukraine (2-0) and Northern Ireland (1-0) in group-stage, getting a draw with Poland (0-0). Germany faced Slovakia in the last 16 round and Low’s players had no concersn, winning 3-0 in the end. Mario Gomez is likely to start up front, with Draxler, Ozil and Muller supporting him from behind.
Italy are capable of interesting things. They have shown it in the group-stage too, defeating Belgium (2-0) and Sweden (1-0). More than that, they faced Spain in the last 16 round and they won 2-0 after an impressive performance. Conte’s players are very motivated here and they would probably be more focused on the defense, trying to score on counter attack.
