The 9th round of the Euro 2016 Qualifications will put face to face Israel and Cyprus, Saturday evening from 19:45. These two sides are coming from Group B, a group where Wales and Belgium are making the rules.
Israel have the best chance in Group B to finish third and to qualify in play-off, but there are two remaining matches. The hosts have 13 points and a 14-9 goal difference, being four points behind Belgium (2nd position). Israel have not impressed in the home games, having two wins and two defeats.
Cyprus are in bad position right now, without any real chance to qualify at the European Championship. The guests are on the 5th place in Group B, with nine points and a decent goal difference, 12-13. Anyway, they fight for the fourth position with Bosnia, but they are two points behind. Cyprus lost the home game with Israel, one year ago, 1-2 after 0-2 at half time. More than that, they lost all four meetings with Israel since 2003.
