Osaka is the most consistent player on hard court since 2018. The WTA Tour was resumed in August after the corona pandemic, since then the 22-year-old tennis star has been unbeaten for twenty games in a row. In the semi-final of the Australian Open, the Japanese came a break behind Serena Williams and was then one point away from a 0-3 deficit, but here Osaka turned the game over. In the end she won convincingly 6-3, 6-4.
