Argentina meets Jamaica, passing to the knockout stages!
This will be Lionel`s Messi 100th appearance, since he first startes his career, the game between Argentina and Jamaica, game which his team will surely want to make it one to remeber, for their captain, captain who scored a total of 49 goal in 99 matches. But despite the fact that he won a great number of trophies, playing for Barcelona, where he has shown incredible performances, he never won a trophy for his national team and seems to bother him.
Argentina was pretty close to win World Cup in 2014 and Copa America in 2007, so Messi, disturbed by the results or the lack of it, declared for La Nacion “I would give everything(to win Copa America)”, he said. He also said that a winning of the competition would bring him and his teammates some “peace of mind” and that they fully deserve it, as the country and the fans too.
This will surely be the easiest way to pass to the knockout stages, for the Argentina`s players, as Jamaica haven`t proved untill now, their skills and performances that could recommend them for the qualifiers. It`s a team to be taken lightly, but eitherway, a win from Jamaica would be a surprise but it`s highly unlikely.
