AS Roma hosts Palermo at the Stadio Olimpico for the final match of the campaign.
As Roma secured their spot in the next season of Champions League, after eliminating their neighbours, Lazio. Rudi Garcia, As Roma`s coach, thinks that they had a very tough group this year of Champions League and hopes for an easier one, next year. He also said that even if it was tough, it was important experience that will definitely help them on the future.
As Roma are now placed second in the Serie A standings, so their match today against Palermo it`s just a matter of finishing the season hopefully, with a victory and a trophy, but no other interests, they are already celebrating their results.
Palermo are visitors today at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, and the last time they`ve faced AS Roma here, Palermo managed to score. They also had a great performance this season, much more above expectations, showing up in a very good shape.
AS Roma have won their last two home games against Palermo, and have won seven times, one draw and two defeats in the last 10 visits of the Palermo. Meanwhile, in the last ten meetings between the two sides both home and away, the Giallorossi have won five, drawn two and lost 3.
On the other hand, Palermo also is safe this season, i think they have accomplished what they were hoping for. It would be a dream come true if they`d manage to win this final and finish the campaign in a great manner, trying to make amends with the fact that last weekend they were defeated by Fiorentina, their 13th loss this season.
We expect to see the match today, between Giallorossi and the Rosanero, and place our bets wisely, taking in consideration that Palermo also are very much in shape, as i was saying earlier.
